Story

A retrovirus, designed as a tool in gene technology, gets out of control and leads to uncontrollable mutations. All living organisms crossbreed with one another – plants with animals with humans. The result is devastating. In just two days 90% of mankind died, the rest mutated. Only very few people seem immune to the virus and they have to struggle for survival in a now hostile and constantly changing ecosystem.

Tom Keller is one of those survivors. He lives alone - but safe - in an abandoned rocket launch base in the Eifel near the Belgian border. He soon learns that he is not the only survivor and so the group grows. They try to establish a near to normal life inside the military facility but as the genetically modified organisms (G.M.O.) evolve they have to learn that the fence around the base is no longer protecting them.

As the survivors take off to find new shelter they learn about an inevitable second catastrophe heading their way.

So they have to put aside grief, anger and fear, and head south together.
South – towards hope, towards a new beginning. Maybe…
