On Wednesday December 7th at 11:15 pm we will be guest on the popular talk show "TV total" on ProSieben. We will tell in detail how the film came to be and will also show previously unreleased Making-of footage. Don't miss it!

November 17th 2011: Home Video Release in Germany
The wait is over: As of today "Extinction" is available for rent or sale on DVD and Bluray in Germany. Either click on amazon link on the left or consult your local video store. Enjoy!

| October 20, 2011: World Premiere at Hof International Film Festival
After almost three years of work "Extinction" is now finally completed and will celebrate it's world premiere at the renowned Hof International Film Festival.
There will be two screenings: The premiere at midnight in the night from Friday, October 28th to Saturday, October 29th. And a second one on 1pm on Saturday , October 29th.
In addition to the cineastic event, our own Daniel Buder will also participate in a sportive one: He will play in the traditional Hof filmmaker's soccer tournament on 10:30 am, Saturday October 29th. With his years of experience in regional soccer clubs, we trust him to put up a challenge to the other filmmakers.

 January 12, 2011: Supported!
The Cinema Ergo Sum Filmproduktion has been supported as one of 14 stipendiary film and television production companies by theAV-Gründerzentrum NRW. The goal of this "AV founding centre" is to support upcoming production companies by networking, training and funding them in cooperation with the Filmstiftung NRW (film funding NRW).

December 8, 2009: Picture lock
The final cut is ready for post-production! Now the other departments (color grading, sound design, visual effects and film score) may finally begin their work.

Once again the German movie magazine "SEEN" featured "Extinction - The G.M.O. Chronicles". This time they visited the crew on location and brought exclusive footage from the additional shooting. Watch the full episode on bunch.tv (German).

After five hard days of shooting on surreal and creepy loactions the crew has finally returned to civilization - no more mutants, no more fog...

| October 8, 2009: Back to the apocalypse!
The preparations for the additional photography move into high gear: The choreography for the new opening sequence is being developed, stuntmen are hired and trained, old and new crewmembers gather.
We are really looking forward to be at the end of the world again!
